The article contains the same information in both locations.

The wait room display has a little-used but potentially useful option called 'alert'. Once enabled, the patient queue screen will show an orange-yellow 'Alert' button on the patient row. When the staff member clicks the button, the wait room display will sound a signal on the wait room TV and announce 'Please check the screen for an announcement'. A red block containing the patient's HIPAA-compliant name and the message 'Please report to the front desk' is splashed across the top of the screen for the length of time configured in the Alert Message Length setting.

This article discusses both enabling the option and configuring the display time.

To enable the option, use the configuration in either of the locations listed (in order of ease):

Settings Page:

Settings > Wait Room Screen > Universal Settings >

Enable Alert Button

Be sure and click the green Save Changes button to preserve your changes.

In Team Admin > Hospitals:


To configure the length of time (in seconds) that the message will be displayed on the wait room screen, use the configuration in either of the locations listed (in order of ease):

Be sure and scroll to the bottom of the hospital page and click Save to preserve your changes.
