Hooking Up the G-Box

• Connect power cord to G-Box and plug power converter into an outlet

• Connect one end of the HDMI cable to G-Box, connect the other end to a TV or monitor

• Connect USB dongle if using wireless keyboard/mouse (be sure to remove when done)

• Power on the TV and use the input/source selector to ensure the G-Box output is displayed

Using Setup Wizard

• If using remote control:

• using the up/down/left/right and OK buttons, cursor down to English and click OK

• cursor down to the wifi network you want to use and click OK

• use the cursor and the virtual keyboard to enter your wifi password, then cursor lower-right and click OK on Done

• click OK once the wifi has connected to return to the desktop


• If using wireless keyboard and mouse:

• double-click on English

• double-click the wifi network you want to use

• enter the wifi password and click Enter

• double-click once the wifi has connected to return to the desktop


Creating the Google Play account

• If using remote control:

• cursor down to Apps and click OK on the Google Play app (suitcase w/ multi-colored triangles)

• when asked 'New' or 'Existing', cursor down to 'New' and click OK

• use the left/right/up/down to spell out your first name, then cursor down to the Next button lower-right and click OK

• use the left/right/up/down to spell out your last name, then cursor down to the Next button lower-right and click Done

• use the virtual keyboard to enter the new e-mail account using the convention 'clockwisecustxxx' where 'xxx' is the hospital ID of the clinic being configured; you need not add the '@gmail.com' as this is added automatically

• once you have entered the e-mail name, switch the remote to the mouse pointer and click on the right arrow at the right-center on-screen

• switch the mouse pointer off, then use the virtual keyboard to enter the e-mail password 'clockwisecust1'

• cursor down and right, and click Next at lower-right

• use the virtual keyboard to enter the same password ('clockwisecust1') again

• cursor down and right, and click Done at lower-right

• at the password recovery screen, cursor down and click OK on 'Not now'

• on the Google Services page, uncheck the box for Backing up Data and click "Next" in the lower right

• cursor right and click OK on the right arrow

• cursor down and click OK on 'I accept'

• use the virtual keyboard to enter the validation phrase shown on the screen, and cursor down to click OK on Done

• on the Sync Your Account page, uncheck all four options and click "Next" in the lower right

• on the Set Up Payment Info page, check the "No Thanks" option and the bottom and click on "Next" in the lower right


• If using wireless keyboard and mouse:

• arrow down to Apps and click on the Google Play app (suitcase w/ multi-colored triangles)

Installation of needed apps

• If using remote control:

• within the "Google Play" store, cursor down to Apps and click OK

• click on the search icon upper-right

• in the search dialog, cursor down until the virtual keyboard appears; use the cursor to enter 'autostart and stay', then cursor down to the search icon lower-right and click OK on the search icon

• cursor down to highlight the "Autostart and StaY!" app, then click the OK button on the remote

• cursor down to the Install button and click OK

• cursor down to the Accept button and click OK

• once installation has completed, cursor back to the search icon upper-right and click okau

• use the virtual keyboard to enter 'urgentqapp' and click OK

• cursor down to highlight the Clockwise.MD Wait Room TV app, then click the OK button on the remote

• cursor down to the Install button and click OK

• cursor down to the Accept button and click OK

• once the application has finished installing, click the Home button on the remote


• If using wireless keyboard and mouse:

• within the App store, click on Apps

• click on the search icon upper-right

• in the search dialog, enter 'Autostart and Stay', then click Enter or click the search icon

• click the Install button

• click the Accept button

• once installation has completed, click the search button upper-right

• enter 'UrgentQapp' and click Enter or click the search icon

• click the Install button

• click the Accept button

• once the application has finished installing, right-click the mouse until you return to the Home screen


Configuration of Clockwise.MD Wait Room TV and Autostart_and_Stay Apps

• If using remote control:

• cursor up to Latest Apps and click OK on the Clockwise.MD Wait Room TV app

• when the white page loads, click on the button containing three horizontal bars center-left on the remote

• use the remote left/right/up/down to move the arrow to the Change Hospital ID row (new installs contain a '1' here)

• use the number buttons on the remote to type in your Clinic ID

• use the backspace button located lower-left on the remote, then use your arrow buttons to click on Save


The TV display should now show the wait room screen for the clinic being configured.

• press the Home button on the remote to return to the desktop

• use the mouse button on the remote to turn off the mouse pointer

• cursor up to Latest Apps and click OK on the Autostart and Stay app

• press the mouse button on the remote to turn on the on-screen arrow

• hover over the OK button that is displayed on the "What's new?" popup dialogue and click it

• click the blue circle with the plus symbol lower-right

• in the new sidebar that opens to the right, cursor down to highlight the UrgentQ app

• use the mouse arrow to click on the UrgentQ row, which should then display "App Options"

• use the mouse arrow to click on the check mark in the Autostart row

• in the Startup Delay? Box that opens, use the remote numeric keypad to enter '15' in the 'delay in seconds' dialog

• use the mouse arrow to click the OK button in the Startup Delay? Box

• press the Home button to return to the desktop


• If using wireless keyboard and mouse:

• arrow up to Latest Apps and double-click on the Clockwise.MD Wait Room TV app

• when the white page loads, click in the top-right corner of the screen

• Click on “Change Hospital ID”

• enter the hospital ID for the clinic being configured

• click Save


The TV display should now show the wait room screen for the clinic being configured

• press the Home button on the remote to return to the desktop

• arrow up to Latest Apps and click OK on the Autostart and Stay app

• click the blue circle with the plus symbol lower-right

• in the new sidebar that opens to the right, scroll down and click the UrgentQ app

• click on the check mark in the Autostart row

• in the Startup Delay? Box that opens, enter '15' in the 'delay in seconds' dialog

• click the OK button in the Startup Delay? Box

• press the Home button to return to the desktop


Configuration of Time Zone

• If using remote control:

• use the mouse button on the remote to turn off the on-screen pointer

• cursor down to Settings, then cursor right to System Settings and click the OK button on the remote

• cursor right to Advanced Settings and click the OK button on the remote

• cursor down to System > Date & Time and click the OK button on the remote

• cursor down to 'Select Time Zone' and click the OK button on the remote

• cursor up to the correct time zone for the clinic being configured and click the OK button


• If using wireless keyboard and mouse:

• arrow down to Settings and double-click on System Settings

• double-click on Advanced Settings

• arrow down to System > Date & Time and double-click Date & Time

• double-click Select Time Zone

• arrow up to correct time zone for the clinic being configured and double-click time zone


Rebooting and Testing

• Remove the power cable from the back of the G-Box

• Wait at least 30 seconds

• Insert the power cable into the back of the G-Box


G-Box will reboot and show A9 quad-core processor screen.


G-Box will then show black 'Matricom' screen.


G-Box will then show desktop with UrgentQ and Autostart_and_Stay icons for 15 seconds.


G-Box will finally show UrgentQ screen and load the wait room queue for the clinic being configure
